The tour will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
The tour begins with convenient hotel pickup in Kanazawa or Toyama. Your first destination is Takada Castle, a beautiful Edo-period castle surrounded by a lovely park, particularly famous for its cherry blossoms in spring. Enjoy exploring the castle grounds and learning about its rich history.

Next, you’ll visit the Hoshitoge Terraced Rice Fields, a stunning example of traditional Japanese agriculture. The terraced fields create a breathtaking landscape, especially during sunrise and sunset, providing great photo opportunities.

Afterward, you'll head to Kiyotsu Gorge, known for its dramatic cliffs, clear waters, and unique rock formations. Here, you can take a leisurely hike along designated trails or explore the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel, which offers spectacular views.
In the evening, you’ll check into your hotel in Niigata, where you'll have free time allowing you to sample the region's fresh seafood and sake.

Day 2
After breakfast, you’ll board a jet foil ferry from Niigata to Sado Island, enjoying the scenic journey across the Sea of Japan. Upon arrival, your first stop is Nishimikawa Gold Park, where you can learn about the island's gold mining history through interactive exhibits and even try your hand at gold panning.

Next, enjoy a Hangiri round boat ride, a unique experience that allows you to glide along calm waters while taking in the beautiful coastal views. Following the boat ride, visit Shukunegi, a picturesque historic village with traditional wooden houses and narrow alleys, immersing yourself in the local culture.

After exploring Shukunegi, you’ll head to Sado Kinzan, an old gold mine. Guided tours will take you through the mine tunnels, showcasing the techniques used during the gold rush era.

Finally, visit Senkakuwan Bay, renowned for its stunning coastal views and natural beauty. You can take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline before checking into your accommodation on Sado Island for the night.

Day 3
Start your day with breakfast, then take a morning ferry back to Niigata. Enjoy the beautiful sea views during your journey. Once you arrive in Niigata, you’ll embark on a guided drive down the coast, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

At the end of your adventure, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in either Kanazawa or Toyama, leaving you with wonderful memories of your trip.
