Important Information

The tour will proceed regardless of weather conditions, but please note that between mid-November and mid-June, the onsen location will be changed to an indoor facility due to road closures. 

*Please note that due to Japan's legal drinking age of 20, sake tastings during the tour are only available to guests who meet this age requirement.

Your adventure begins with convenient hotel pickup in either Kanazawa or Toyama, traveling in comfortable private transport to Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its picturesque thatched-roof farmhouses nestled in stunning mountainous scenery. Here, you'll visit the Myozenji Museum to learn about the village’s rich history and the unique architectural styles of the gassho-zukuri houses. Take your time exploring the village and admiring its timeless beauty.

If starting from Toyama, your route includes a scenic cruise along the Shogawa Gorge, where you’ll glide through calm waters surrounded by forested cliffs—a truly enchanting experience. From Kanazawa, you’ll head directly to Shirakawa-go, ensuring you make the most of your time in this iconic village.

Next, we travel to Takayama, famous for its well-preserved Edo-period streets. Stroll through the charming Sanmachi Suji district, home to traditional wooden buildings housing shops and cafes. Don’t miss the Takayama Jinya, a historic government building offering insight into the region’s political past. Enjoy a guided sake tasting at a local brewery, sampling renowned local sakes.

For those starting from Kanazawa, the final leg of the journey takes you down the iconic White Line Road, which offers sweeping views of valleys and waterfalls. Along this scenic mountain route, you’ll have the opportunity to soak in a serene outdoor natural onsen, surrounded by lush forest and the calming sounds of nature—a truly rejuvenating experience.

The tour is fully inclusive, covering all admission fees and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Drop-off is available in Kanazawa, Toyama, or Kyoto, allowing you to end your adventure feeling refreshed and inspired by the beauty and heritage of this enchanting region.
