Important Information
The tour will proceed regardless of weather conditions. This tour is available only when the Tateyama Alpine Route is open, typically from mid-April to late November, depending on snow conditions.
Start your day early and depart from Kanazawa in a private vehicle. Your first stop will be Toyama Bay, where you can enjoy a scenic boat cruise. Take in the stunning coastal views and possibly spot some local wildlife.
Next, you'll arrive in Tateyama, where you can explore the stunning Murodo area, known for its alpine scenery and the impressive Tateyama Snow Wall (Yuki no Otani). Walk along the snow corridor and marvel at the towering walls of snow, which can reach impressive heights depending on the season. Afterward, visit Mikuriga Pond, famous for its crystal-clear waters and beautiful surroundings—perfect for capturing picturesque photos.

After your time in Tateyama, you’ll visit Nissekiji Temple. Here, you can explore the serene temple grounds and, if you're interested, participate in an optional waterfall cleansing activity, a traditional practice believed to purify the mind and spirit.

On your way back, stop at Toyama Castle. Explore the castle grounds and learn about its history, with the surrounding park providing a great spot for a leisurely stroll.
